New Years Eve Recap- Countdown to 2012
We’d like to thank one and all who came out to celebrate the New Year with us at Mayne Stage and Act One Pub!
This was our second consecutive year as the main hub for ABC7’s Countdown to 2012 with Janet Davies and Mark Giangreco - a process of which takes months of planning and extra long hours for those on our production crew. It’s all worth while to share our beloved venue to Chicago viewers during the ONLY local broadcast for New Years Eve.
Here’s a behind the scenes shot of where ABC set up their camera’s for the broadcast. If you squint, you can see Janet Davies getting prepped and ready for the show!

If you have not had the pleasure of listening to James Hunter, please change that…especially if your New Years resolution is to do more amazing things. James Hunter has toured and opened for Van Morrison, Etta James, Willy Nelson, Buddy Guy and Aretha Franklin. He hails from the England, but has American Motown and soul running through his veins.
